User Account
You need an account to use the Netlas platform. Creating an account significantly increases your data request limits and unlocks features that are not available to unregistered users.
Creating Account
You can sign up using:
- A corporate email if you plan to use Netlas for business purposes.
- A personal email if you plan to use it for personal purposes.
- A university email if you plan to use it for educational purposes.
Third-Party Sign-In
Accounts created via third-party services like Windows Live or Google are tied to those services and cannot be converted into standard accounts with standalone passwords.
Subscription Tier Limits
After registration, your account will be assigned the Community tier. This is a forever-free plan. While it includes some limitations, it still provides access to most core Netlas tools like Responses Search and Domain Search.
Most Netlas features are available only with paid subscriptions.
Special Subscription
You may be eligible for a special subscription if you're using Netlas for educational purposes, building an integration, or writing for a blog or journal. Read more →
Quantitative Limits
Keep an eye on the indicators in the upper-right corner of the interface. These reflect the current usage limits for selected Netlas tools.

Key limits include:
- Request Limit: Decreases with every request made using any search method.
- Search Coins: Each time a document is retrieved from the Netlas database, one Search Coin is consumed.
Another important restriction is the Per-download Limit, which caps the number of results you can export from a search to the first N results.
Multiple Free Accounts
Creating multiple free accounts to bypass usage limits is strictly prohibited under the Netlas License Agreement.
